Barack Obama is to rhetoric what Milli Vanilli was to music ... a teleprompter away from meltdown at any given time or place.
What holds the candidate afloat is technology. Remove the technology and the message melts into a series of embarrassing ums and ahs. A good leader, or just a good reader?
